LomoEsque

So I have purchased a Diana F+ Lomography camera.

Whilst I was researching the camera I deliberated the expense by trying to recreate the look via digital.
I took the photos at The Shebeats Club Fuzz residency at The Lon
g Rooms in Tooting and tried to give the photos a lomoesque kinda feel..... i don't think its really fit the "lomo look" all that well though, other than a lot of vignetting.

Basically I realised that Lomography is about spontaneity and surprise and wasting alot of money developing films and putting a bit of thought into the settings y
ou use on a camera rather than taking in RAW and hoping for the best.

I think there must be some stingy Jew genes in my bones because now I have received my plastic toy camera...I am not sure what I was expecting but it is very very PLASTIC! I shelled out for the 35mm back and an assortment of film. So far I have taken about 3 photos of my feet and about 3 photos of my sister and all I can think about is the expense of printing out these unknown quantities!

I am going to try and combat my stingy ways and get the first few rolls of crap photos of feet developed and see what turns up .

For now these are the digital efforts!
